Bitte wendet euch bei Fragen zur ABNA direkt per e-mail an mich! Ich lese definitiv nicht alle Posts! Daher kann schnell etwas übersehen werden!
Robert Voss ist zur Zeit absolut schwierig zu erreichen! Tracy, die hauptsächlich mitverantwortlich ist für die Homepage, versucht seit über 10 Tagen die Daten der letzten Shows von Robert Voss zu bekommen!
Doch bevor sie diese nicht hat, kann sie auch die europäischen Punkte nicht aktualisieren!!!
Dass dies ein großer Missstand ist, steht fest!!
Also, nervt einfach den Voss, schickt ihm e-mails, ruft ihn an! Ich habe dies auch schon mehrfach getan, doch ohne Reaktion!
Vielleicht hilft es, wenn auch andere ihm auf den Keks gehen!

@Robert: I understand if you have trouble at work that the ABNA and some stupid points are the last thing you care about! But for us this is pretty important so at least pass you information on to Tracy!!! That is all you need to do and that can't be too much and should be easily done!!!!!

Es ist ja schonmal ein Gutes, daß sich Tracy jetzt hauptsächlich um die Beiarbeitung der Punkte und die Website kümmert und nicht mehr Robert. Dann ist ja noch Hoffnung in Sicht!!

Solange Robert da die Hand drauf hatte, wurde eh nur das bearbeitet oder gewertet, was ihm persönlich so in den Kram paßte.

Gesa, I absolutely love your banner, it is very good!

When I left the ABNA it was 2 years behind on the points and I just couldn't continue to represent an organization like that, I tried so hard to get Rob Vos and Kevin to send me the show results so that I could update them myself but it never happened. Finally when the points were added to the website the European points came out differently than the American ones, majors were not indicated and Champions were not declared, I tried to bring this to the attention of the ABNA but was never answered, many many people had emailed me to say that the points listing was not accurate and I kept telling them to email the ABNA directly but they said that they had emailed and no one ever answered them back, this problem has been going on for years, you need to bring this directly to Greg's attention, he can get the problem fixed, he can say fix it by this date or hand over the responsibility to someone else. If Robert is too busy with work then someone that has more free time has to take it over.

The ABNA is a show organization, its only purpose as a sanctioning body is to keep an accurate record of the points earned at the shows, until it can get this one single thing done properly it will never progress.

The whole philosophy behind its beginnings was to be an umbrella where dogs registered with different registries could compete against one another bringing bulldoggers together in harmony and then to keep an accurate record of those points.

If I were you guys I would stop doing everything else until this problem is solved, forget new websites, new reps etc, just fix the points. Make all of the points the same, US and Europe, indicate the majors and declare the Champions.

Sorry that the banner is soo big! I just set up a link to a site were it is puit down and it came up so big! I need to get the size reduced... :eek:

You are right! And that is what they try to do at the moment! Put both points lits together into one and mark the mayors and Champion class wins!
But there for is the european show file needed...

Wenn ihr mich fragt, was natuerlich keiner tun wuerde, finde ich dieses punkte system bescheuert, und das alle da hinterhecheln wie als gaebe es nichts wichtigeres auf der welt....LOL

Titel aendern den Hund nicht, machen ihn weder besser noch schlechter. Klar kann ich verstehen, dass wenn man Zeit Geld und Muehe in Ausstellungen investiert, und durch halb Europa faehrt etc, dass wenn diese Punkte vorgegeben sind und man diese dann doch nicht erhaelt, oder der eine erkennt es vom anderen nicht an, oder hier und da stimmt was nicht, dass es nervig ist!

ABER ist das wirklich so wichtig? Man weiss doch selber am besten was man zuhause stehen hat im Stall oder? Da brauche ich doch keinen Richter der mir zusaetzlich noch sagt, dass der eine Hund mehr Pigment vertragen koennte, dass der andere ne schlechte Hinterhand hat etc.... So sehe ich das!

Lesli, i hope that we can organize the Show in November, the very first one in South Africa! I got a couple of American Bulldog Owner, which would love to show their Dogs.
Be aware, that you must take your Sunglases, Sun Milk and maybe a Bikini.....it will be very hot than, but i will organize a very nice Caipi for us, so the Show will be done very easy...haha
